This is June 1997 and yesterday, when going through some papers,
the following sheet fell to the floor, asking to be read. It was originally
torn out of "Faith for Daily Living" of November 1978, nearly nineteen
years ago, by my mother. To those who are interested, it will, I am sure,
confirm that there is an international move of evil intentions which in
all probability is Satanic in origin.
CHRIST OR THE KREMLIN?
REVOLUTION BY STEALTH
The Marching Orders of the Marxists
-
Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and
obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and T.V.
-
Eliminate all laws of governing obscenity by calling them "censorship"
and a violation of free speech and free press.
-
Gain control of key positions on radio, T.V. and motion pictures.
-
Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy
divorce.
-
Emphasise the need to rear children away from the negative influence of
parents.
-
Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as normal, natural and
healthy.
-
Continue discrediting culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression.
Eliminate all good culture from parks and public buildings and substitute
shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.
-
Infiltrate the Churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion.
Discredit the Bible and emphasise the need for intellectual maturity which
does not need a "religious crutch".
-
Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression from schools.
-
Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the Police to social agencies.
Treat all behavioural problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but
psychiatrists can understand or treat.
-
Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects
of the country's tradition; that students and special interest groups should
rise up and use force to solve economic, political and social problems.
-
Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready
for self-government.
(This appalling schedule of Marxist objectives appeared some years ago
in the paper "Atheist Agenda". It was recently reproduced in the Worlingham
(Suffolk) "Parish News". We include it here with due acknowledgement to
the Rector, the Rev. G.K. Johnson, who says: "It is disturbing because
so many of the proposed objectives appear to have been reached".)
Providentially, on the reverse side of this same sheet, the following
words are to be found from another article:
I am quite sure that nobody whose eye falls on these words but will
agree that in retrospect some of the darkest experiences of life, which
at the time seemed to be so senseless and purposeless, have turned out
to hold something of positive gain and significance. This is one reason
why the words of the Psalmist have never ceased to comfort uncounted men
and women in every generation. "Yea, though I walk through the valley of
the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil; for Thou art with me". It did
not seem like this at the time. But of a surety that Presence was there.
Glory to the Living God. |
