Superfaith !
-
-
Firstly, let's define what Superfaith is.
-
-
It is the Power of God.
-
All things are from God, for the glory of God.
-
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
-
(Genesis 1:1)
-
-
With that behind us (you'll probably came back to it) let us go forward
and see how much of God's Spiritual Power can become available to us who
are His saints.
-
-
Also, because the covenant that Adam made with Eve was consummated instead
of the one of obedience to God, Satan received power to rule the earth.
[Romans 6:16; Daniel 10:10-21; Luke 4:1-9; Ephesians 3:9-11; Romans 8:37-39.]
-
Forasmuch as Almighty God is Holy and Righteous, He holds to this agreement
between man and Satan in this present world.
-
-
We know that the disciples weren't reborn of the Spirit until after the
resurrection of Jesus.
-
We also know, therefore, that the Gospels were written after the disciples
(and Luke) were reborn and therefore written under the guidance of God
the Holy Spirit.
-
A pertinent example is the Gospel of John, especially those chapters dealing
with the principles given at the last supper. This is evident especially
in the seventeenth chapter, as John could definitely not have remembered
the prayer of Jesus after so many years subsequent to the supper without
the guidance and comfort of the Holy Spirit.
-
-
So, when John wrote the following, it was under the authority of the indwelling
Holy Spirit of God:
-
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me,
he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto
him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my
sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which
sent me. These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present
with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father
will send in my name, (v26) he
shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever
I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give
unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart
be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Ye have heard how I said unto you,
I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice,
because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to
pass, ye might believe.
-
(John 14:23-29)
-
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the
Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but
the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that
I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for
the very works' sake. (v12) Verily,
verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall
he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because
I go unto my Father. And whatsoever
ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified
in the Son. If ye shall ask any
thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments.
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that
he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the
world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but
ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not
leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
-
(John 14:10-18)
-
Further, because it was written so many months or years after the last
supper, it was not only meant for the 11 disciples, but for all who read
it and believe.
-
-
Jesus came from God to earth to reconcile man to God; to redeem man from
Adam's sin.
-
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life:
he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall
never thirst. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe
not. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh
to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do
mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father's
will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose
nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the
will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth
on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last
day.
-
(John 6:35-40)
-
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the
life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou
this?
-
(John 11:25-26)
-
Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth
not on me, but on him that sent me. And he that seeth me seeth him that
sent me. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on
me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe
not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the
world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that
judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the
last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me,
he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And
I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore,
even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
-
(John 12:44-50)
-
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All
power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore,
and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of
the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching
them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I
am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
-
(Matthew 28:18-20)
-
How many things?
-
Those things which Jesus had taught them.
-
Does this mean only those things which Jesus commanded His disciples?
-
In John 14:12 above, Jesus says something that can easily be overlooked.
Does it also mean that for now it is as He taught them, but later come
the greater works? See also John 14:26 above.
-
In the light of the following passages of Scripture, it would seem so.
-
-
All things that we are to do for our God are for His glory and this means
that they are done in His time, in the place that He designates and the
way He wants. We must make ourselves ready - to hear and obey, . . . in
the name of His beloved Son, our loving Master.
-
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from
the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a
kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
-
(James 1:17-18)
-
-
Jesus of Nazareth, the Chosen One of God, came once to redeem mankind to
God.
-
He:
-
1. paid the ransom of His shed blood for man's sin. (paying the price for
our sins.)
-
2. became man's Covenant Representative at His death. (each must choose
to accept this Covenant, or not.)
-
3. became the only means of man's justification at His resurrection. (By
faith in Him.)
-
-
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for
us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ;
that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Brethren,
I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant,
yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.
-
(Galatians 3:13-15. - - - -->)
-
-
Jesus Christ, God's beloved Son, is coming again, to rule with a rod of
iron.
-
Would you like to be part of that?
-
There is a price to pay.
-
-
Superfaith
-
-
This can only pierce the evil veil covering the earth by the work of Jesus
on the cross, our submission to God the Creator of all things, through
the guidance and comfort of the Holy Spirit.
-
For God's glory through us.
-
Reading Matthew 28:18-20 again we see that Jesus can do the work of the
Kingdom of heaven through the evil veil of Satan according to our faith
and His purpose. He, the Son of man is with us always. See also
Psalm 23:3; Luke 17:21 and Ephesians 3:17.
-
We are the conduit through which the power of God works. God does the
work.
-
This will only be achieved if we are in total submission to Him and His
will, that no glory sticks to us. We each are His loving willing SERVANT:
-
And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. And the Lord said,
If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might
say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou
planted in the sea; and it should obey you. But which of you, having a
servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he
is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat? And will not rather say
unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me,
till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded
him? I trow not. So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things
which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done
that which was our duty to do.
-
(Luke 17:5-10)
-
And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that
they were righteous, and despised others: Two men
went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that
I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or
even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that
I possess. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much
as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God
be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house
justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself
shall be abased; and he that humbleth
himself shall be exalted.
-
(Luke 18:9-14)
-
God will also do this in His time and in His way so that His Kingdom can
come.
-
For example:
-
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it
is in heaven.
-
(Matthew 6:10)
-
Another parable put he forth unto them, saying,The
kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man
took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but
when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree,
so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.
-
(Matthew 13:31-32)
-
And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain
man, kneeling down to him, and saying, Lord, have mercy on my son: for
he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire,
and oft into the water. And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could
not cure him. Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless
and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I
suffer you? bring him hither to me. And Jesus rebuked the devil;
and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.
Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast
him out? And Jesus said unto them, Because of your
unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard
seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and
it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
-
(Matthew 17:14-20)
-
Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered. And when
he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon,
but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow
on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered
away. And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How
soon is the fig tree withered away! Jesus answered and said unto them,
Verily I say unto you, If
ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which
is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain,
Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all
things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing,
ye shall receive.
-
(Matthew 21:18-22)
-
The just shall live by faith.
-
-
How many mountains do you know about that have been cast into the sea?
-
None, right?
-
This tells us something.
-
But if it can't be done, why did Jesus mention it?
-
Therefore it can be done!
-
-
Nothing is impossible for the Person who made heaven and the earth.
-
God does the work. We must believe that He can do it through us.
-
How far can we go along this road? Quite far if we practice under God's
tutelage, starting with our attitudes in the world, as one teacher calls
them "our beautiful attitudes."
-
Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are
differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities
of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the
manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
-
(1 Corinthians 12:4-7)
-
For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that
one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one
Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or
Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to
drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many. If the
foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it
therefore not of the body? And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the
eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? If the whole
body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were
hearing, where were the smelling? But now hath God set the members
every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
-
(1 Corinthians 12:12-18)
-
Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to
himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself think this again, that,
as he is Christ's, even so are we Christ's. For though I
should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given
us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:
-
(2 Corinthians 10:7-8)
-
-
Look at these words from the Son of man:
-
And when his disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten
to take bread. Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed
and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have
taken no bread. Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O
ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought
no bread? Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of
the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? Neither the seven loaves
of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? How is it that ye
do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that
ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? Then
understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of
bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. When
Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples,
saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias;
and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, But whom
say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ,
the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him,
Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed
it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto
thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and
the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee
the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth
shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall
be loosed in heaven.
-
(Matthew 16:5-19) [see also Matthew 18:18-19]
-
Do you notice the past tense, present tense and future tense?
-
How soon after the resurrection of Jesus does the saint receive the keys
of the Kingdom?
-
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should
come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God
cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there!
for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
-
(Luke 17:20-21)

-
Some examples of Superfaith (or should we say the power of the Kingdom
of God ) unleashed throughout history:
-
Then the king of Syria warred against Israel, and took counsel with his
servants, saying, In such and such a place shall be my camp. And
the man of God sent unto the king of Israel, saying, Beware that thou pass
not such a place; for thither the Syrians are come down. And the king of
Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of,
and saved himself there, not once nor twice. Therefore the heart of the
king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants,
and said unto them, Will ye not shew me which of us is for the king
of Israel? And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king: but Elisha,
the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words
that thou speakest in thy bedchamber. And he said, Go and spy where he
is, that I may send and fetch him. And it was told him, saying,
Behold, he is in Dothan. Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots,
and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about.
And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth,
behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his
servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? And he answered,
Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that
be with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open
his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man;
and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots
of fire round about Elisha.
-
(2 Kings 6:8-17)
-
And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed
a fast throughout all Judah. And Judah gathered themselves together, to
ask help of the LORD: even out of all the cities of Judah they came
to seek the LORD. And Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and
Jerusalem, in the house of the LORD, before the new court, And said, O
LORD God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and rulest
not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand
is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand
thee? Art not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants
of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham
thy friend for ever? And they dwelt therein, and have built thee a sanctuary
therein for thy name, saying, If, when evil cometh upon us, as
the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house,
and in thy presence, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto
thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help. And now, behold,
the children of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest not let
Israel invade, when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned
from them, and destroyed them not; Behold, I say, how they reward
us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou hast given us
to inherit. O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against
this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do:
but our eyes are upon thee. And all Judah stood before the LORD,
with their little ones, their wives, and their children. Then upon Jahaziel
the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of
Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the LORD in
the midst of the congregation; And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and
ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the
LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude;
for the battle is not yours, but God's. To morrow go ye down against
them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them
at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. Ye shall not
need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still,
and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear
not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will
be with you. And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to
the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before
the LORD, worshipping the LORD. And the Levites, of the children of the
Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the
LORD God of Israel with a loud voice on high. And they rose early in the
morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went
forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants
of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established;
believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. And when he had consulted with
the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise
the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise
the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever. And when they began to
sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon,
Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of
mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had
made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.
And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked
unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to
the earth, and none escaped. And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to
take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches
with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for
themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in
gathering of the spoil, it was so much.
-
(2 Chronicles 20:3-25)
-
And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion,
beseeching him, And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the
palsy, grievously tormented. And Jesus saith unto him, I
will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I
am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word
only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having
soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and
to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth
it. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that
followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found
so great faith, no, not in Israel. And I say unto you, That many shall
come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac,
and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. But the children of the kingdom shall
be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of
teeth.
-
(Matthew 8:5-12)
-
And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward
the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which
is desert. And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch
of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge
of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship, Was returning,
and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet. Then the Spirit said
unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot. And Philip ran
thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said,
Understandest thou what thou readest? And he said, How can I, except some
man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit
with him. The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led
as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so
opened he not his mouth: In his humiliation his judgment was taken away:
and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.
And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh
the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man? Then Philip opened
his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and
the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And
he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And
he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the
water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. And when they were
come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that
the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. But Philip
was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities,
till he came to Caesarea.

(Acts 8:26-40)
-
Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to
vex certain of the church. And he killed James the brother of John with
the sword. And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further
to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.) And when
he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him
to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to
bring him forth to the people. Peter therefore was kept in prison: but
prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. And when
Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between
two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept
the prison. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and
a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised
him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his
hands. And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals.
And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and
follow me. And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was
true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision. When they
were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that
leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they
went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed
from him. And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a
surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of
the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of
the Jews.
-
(Acts 12:1-11)
-
And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent
off their clothes, and commanded to beat them. And when they had
laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging
the jailor to keep them safely: Who, having received such a charge, thrust
them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks. And
at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners
heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations
of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and
every one's bands were loosed.
-
(Acts 16:22-26)
-
-
Jesus Christ is coming again to take His elect to rule with Him, and who
shall use those spiritual gifts that they have learned to use by practise
while in these worldly bodies.
-
This may sound like heresy to some?
-
Then why did He say this?
-
And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he
was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God
should immediately appear. He said therefore, A certain
nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and
to return. And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds,
and said unto them, Occupy
till I come. But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after
him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us. And it
came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then
he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given
the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.
Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds. And
he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful
in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities. And the second came,
saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds. And he said likewise to
him, Be thou also over five cities. And another came, saying, Lord, behold,
here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin: For I
feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou
layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow. And he saith unto
him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant.
Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down,
and reaping that I did not sow: Wherefore then gavest not thou my money
into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?
And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give
it to him that hath ten pounds. (And they said unto him, Lord, he
hath ten pounds.) For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall
be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken
away from him. But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign
over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.

(Luke 19:11-27) [see also Matthew 16:27]

If we study the above parable we see that Jesus tells us to "occupy till
I come", or occupy ourselves with the gift that we have been lent. When
He comes back, having received the Spiritual Kingdom, He gives the asset
to us, together with those which we have earned for Him - to help Him rule
the Kingdom! And this we shall be eager to do for our Master.
-
In other words, when we first believe, then believe when the indwelling
Holy Spirit guides us, we are expected to use those Spiritual gifts which
we have received for our King's benefit.
-
As one teacher puts it "We are saved to serve" and "we are trained to reign."
-
As we can see from the above, the servant who did not use His asset lost
it.
-
In other words you choose where you end up in eternity.
-
-
Study this carefully:
-
Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no
money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money
and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is
not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken
diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your
soul delight itself in fatness. Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear,
and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with
you, even the sure mercies of David. Behold, I have given him for
a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people. Behold,
thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that
knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for
the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee. Seek ye the LORD while
he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake
his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto
the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will
abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither
are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens
are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my
thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow
from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh
it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to
the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall
not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and
it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. For ye shall go
out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills
shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field
shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir
tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall
be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not
be cut off.
-
(Isaiah 55:1-13)
-
And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery,
which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created
all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities
and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold
wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ
Jesus our Lord: In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by
the faith of him. Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations
for you, which is your glory. For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father
of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth
is named, That he would grant you, according
to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his
Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that
ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend
with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and
height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that
ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now
unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask
or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be
glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without
end. Amen.

(Ephesians 3:9-21)
-
Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise
the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by
two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie,
we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold
upon the hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of
the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the
veil; Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made
an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
-
(Hebrews 6:17-20)
-
Immutable: Unchangeable, changeless.

Who are the saints?
-
Saint: A holy person.
-
Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints;
he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
-
(Psalms 97:10)
-
Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated
unto the gospel of God, (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in
the holy scriptures,) Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was
made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be
the Son of God with power,
according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the
dead: By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to
the faith among all nations, for his name: Among
whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ: To all that be in Rome,
beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from
God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. First, I thank my God through
Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole
world.
-
(Romans 1:1-8)
-
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what
we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession
for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the
hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh
intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

What the saints do:
-
And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write;
These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame
of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; I know thy works, and
charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the
last to be more than the first. Notwithstanding
I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel,
which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants
to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave
her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I
will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great
tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children
with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth
the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to
your works. But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many
as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan,
as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. But that which ye
have already hold fast till I come. And
he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give
power over the nations:
-
(Revelation 2:18-26)
-
Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not
defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they
are worthy. He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed
in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book
of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
-
(Revelation 3:4-5)

By the by:
-
This is why brides traditionally wear white, even though they may be Jezebelian:
-
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For
the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the
church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject
unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in
every thing.
-
(Ephesians 5:22-24)
-
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the
head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
-
(1 Corinthians 11:3)
-
-
To carry on:
-
And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice
of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia:
for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give
honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath
made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed
in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness
of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are
called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These
are the true sayings of God.
-
(Revelation 19:6-9)
-
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon
him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge
and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head
were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but
he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and
his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in
heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed
in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp
sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them
with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and
wrath of Almighty God.
-
(Revelation 19:11-15)
-
And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless
pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that
old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon
him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years
should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto
them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness
of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast,
neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads,
or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But
the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This
is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath
part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but
they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a
thousand years.
-
(Revelation 20:1-6)
-
-
It would therefore seem that Superfaith occurs mainly in God's Kingdom
in the 1000 years reign of Jesus Christ to those who have exercised the
Spiritual gifts lent to them according to God's will in this present dispensation.
-
-
Are we ready, you and I?
-
The saints don't do it for reward, but with thankfulness and love.
-
-
Further on in Revelation (not necessarily in chronological order) we read
of the New Jerusalem and those who live therein, and there are mysteries
of God in the words that are not clear to this writer.

-
Are we prepared to be angel-like, with total allegiance?
-
Maybe these are those who inhabit the Celestial City.
-
And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked
with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment
of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
-
(Revelation 17:1)
-
And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having
great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily
with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and
is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit,
and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
-
(Revelation 18:1-2)
-
And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven,
saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the
Lord our God: For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath
judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication,
and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
-
(Revelation 19:1-2)
-
And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto
the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true
sayings of God. And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto
me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren
that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus
is the spirit of prophecy.
-
(Revelation 19:9-10)
-
And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless
pit and a great chain in his hand.
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto

neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads,
or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
-
(Revelation 20:1-4)
-
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And
he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said
unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I
will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life
freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his
God, and he shall be my son.
-
(Revelation 21:5-7)
-
And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials
full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither,
I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
-
(Revelation 21:9)
-
And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb
shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his
face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. And there shall
be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for
the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the
Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants
the things which must shortly be done. Behold, I
come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the
prophecy of this book. And I John saw these things, and heard them.
And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of
the angel which shewed me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou
do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets,
and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
-
(Revelation 22:3-9)
-
-
And maybe they are these:
-
And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it:
and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. And
the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no
night there. And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into
it. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither
whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they
which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
-
(Revelation 21:24-27)
-
Let not your heart be troubled: ye
believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions:
if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare
a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again,
and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
