The Just Shall Live by Faith
-
-
Just: Righteous.
-
-
Let's take this one step at a time hoping to brighten up a few dark areas
of our understanding.
-
Firstly we must believe that God is Love, that they are perfect and the
knowledge of God is placed in our souls before we are born; enabling us
to find God if we choose to search for Him.
-
God wants everyone to be redeemed:
-
*A Psalm of David.* LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall
dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness,
and speaketh the truth in his heart.
-
(Psalms 15:1-2)
-
But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is
accepted with him.
-
(Acts 10:35)
-
We see that all this depends on us. We each have to acknowledge that there
is a God who created us. This is initial faith.
-
-
Next, we have to choose whether we will live according to God's directives,
to wear His yoke.
-
Then we search for more knowledge of Him.
-
-
After we each believe, and acknowledge that God is who He says He is, turning
to Him, usually as a consequence of God revealing Himself in an unmistakable
way, resulting in our repentance1, yielding our soul to our
Creator, He justifies and redeems us and we are converted from being worldly
orientated to Spiritually orientated. He (they) then begin revealing Spiritual
truths that have no place in the material world, increasing the blessings
of faith, until we make a decision that we don't want to go any further
along the Way because of the responsibilities that go therewith. We reach
a plateau of faith so to say, or this is how far our faith stretches, whereupon
our righteous God's hands are tied because of the covenant that our forefather
Adam made with the enemy.
-
In other words, God can only go with us as far as we are willing to go
with Him.
-
-
However, our Heavenly Father is always ready to help us on our spiritual
way while we struggle through many temptations and red herrings that are
placed in our path.
-
As we continue in the Way, our Heavenly Father blesses us more and more
with Spiritual knowledge and giftings so that more of His creation who
are in Spiritual darkness can begin to see the Wondrous Light of His very
real Presence.
-
Finally, in this present dispensation, we shall each die and our faithfulness
will become fully known and documented, ready for that day.
-
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the
world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world
is the enemy of God. Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The
spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? But he giveth more grace. Wherefore
he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit
yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands,
ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
-
(James 4:4-8)
-
Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the
end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is
of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the
father of us all,
-
(Romans 4:16)
-
This being a Christian web site, let us carry on. Please first study Romans
1:16-32:
-
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain
mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
-
(Hebrews 4:16)
-
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and
of Jesus our Lord,
-
(2 Peter 1:2)
-
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour
Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
-
(2 Peter 3:18)
-
-
So, we shall live by faith on a minute by minute basis, doing
everything as unto the Lord , and not be frightened and put off by
what the enemy, the prince of the power of the air can do to us, believing
that the power of the air that we breathe is only temporary but the power
of the Spirit is eternal and blessed.
-
-
Jesus sent the twelve out to minister in power and then another seventy,
none of whom were converted, and some unclean spirits were able to resist
them because the men were not skilled in spiritual things, in fact did
not understand them.
-
-
And now we come to what is the greatest spiritual sin in this Laodicean
church of today:
-
there are very, very few who are acknowledged by the church as apostles,
prophets, evangelists, pastors or teachers who can even teach their grandmothers
to suck eggs. Unrepentant. Some of them perform presumptuously in the grace
that God has given and is giving them, others use God's grace as a cloak
for maliciousness or monetary greed, forgetting, or not realising that
God is the author of double entry accounting, one day totting up what was
put in to each soul and what return He received.
-
We then, as workers together with him, beseech you
also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. (For he saith, I have
heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured
thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the
day of salvation.)
-
(2 Corinthians 6:1-2)
-
Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance,
and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to
us, see that ye abound in this grace also.
-
(2 Corinthians 8:7)
-
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always
having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
(As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor:
his righteousness remaineth for ever. Now he that ministereth seed to the
sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed
sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) Being enriched in
every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving
to God. For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want
of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God; Whiles
by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed
subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution
unto them, and unto all men; And by their prayer for you, which
long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.
-
(2 Corinthians 9:8-14)
-
I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by
the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
-
(Galatians 2:21)
-
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the
gift of Christ.
-
(Ephesians 4:7)
-
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which
is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
-
(Ephesians 4:29)
-
As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one
to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
-
(1 Peter 4:10)
-
Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of
you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God
resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
-
(1 Peter 5:5)
-
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by
Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish,
strengthen, settle you. To him be glory and dominion for
ever and ever. Amen. By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose,
I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true
grace of God wherein ye stand.
-
(1 Peter 5:10-12)
-
-
He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord;
and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it.
He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that
eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. For none
of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live,
we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether
we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
