We Are One

Dear reader, you who have just been healed or who are about to be, have probably asked yourself "I never concerned myself with God while I was healthy, why should God have concerned Himself with me now?"
or
"I have led such an evil and degenerate life, surely, God, who is the Holy One, should have no part of me?"

My dear friend, every one of us who have been reborn of the Holy Spirit of God have had a similar question or doubt.

Be assured that once you submit your whole self to God, the merciful God, your past is past. God will not remember your sins. He has promised this and He has made it possible for you to understand it:
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
(Hebrews 10:10-20)

You will become one with the Creator of the universe:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
(John 1:1-5)
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
(John 1:14)

Praise you Lord Jesus; thank You Lord.

God is the Holy One, He can be nothing else but what He claims to be, otherwise He is not God. If He were not Perfect in every way, He cannot fulfil His promises. He would not have absolute power to save your soul from the wrath to come, His wrath: nor would He be able to heal your body for His glory.
Jesus of Nazareth, the man, said:
Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.
(John 10:25-30)
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
(Matthew 7:7-11)
And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
(Matthew 19:17)
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
(John 6:35-40)
Take time out to think about it.

In a previous teaching in this series on healing*, a little was mentioned about "one flesh", that the phrase meant a oneness in a worldly way, and when both halves of the whole are reborn spiritually by their Heavenly Father's Power, they are one spiritually as well.
The oneness between Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and the Heavenly Father are totally spiritual and of a Power that we cannot even comprehend.

The oneness between Jesus of Nazareth, the man, who was sinless, and His Heavenly Father was of such a nature that Jesus, although He greatly feared because He knew what was coming, was obedient unto death, even death by torture.

He was obedient to Someone He couldn't see, but knew and trusted
Surely there couldn't be more of a surety of the presence and Holiness of Father God than this!

We have a sign alongside the front entrance to our house for any to read:
No Jesus, no peace.
Know Jesus, know peace.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
(John 16:33)

Jesus Christ has overcome the world - to those who belong to Him, those who are the sheep of His pasture, those who He will protect from harm.

Hallelujah!

In conclusion:
We have used most of the gospel of Matthew and some of the other gospels to show the purpose of Jesus of Nazareth's public ministry.
That is, God the Son humbled Himself to the life that we live here on earth so that we could hear His message of life human to human.
It becomes obvious that God loves mankind and wants only good for us.

By the way, you may ask "why is this man writing all these things?"
Yes, I am privileged to be known by God, and His word says:
If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?
(Proverbs 24:10-12)

I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding; And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down. Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction. Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.
(Proverbs 24:30-34)
